There is no end to weight loss advice. The internet is awash in diets of every description, not to mention gadgets, gizmos, lotions, potions, pills and more to help you reach your weight loss goals.

Eat Like a Parisienne and Lose Weight is an excellent article to help you focus on realistic ways to attain your ideal weight. This is a very sane article that reminds you that you did not gain your weight overnight and should not expect to lose it overnight either.

It’s Not About Losing Weight. It’s About Being Healthy.

Remember, this is really about being healthy. Your body weight is just one factor. Ultimately, it’s about enjoying your life. If you don’t know how to do that already, understand that it may be a lengthy process with many ups and downs.

As you pursue your weight loss goals, remember to be kind and loving to yourself. One way to look at this is to think of yourself as a child. You are both the child and an adult supervising the child. To be safe, it’s important for the child to stay on the sidewalk, but like most children their attention often wanders and they lose sight of their original goals.

They might wander off the sidewalk. Do no abuse the child when this happens. Simply and lovingly remind the child of her goal and guide her back on the sidewalk.

Always a Kind, Loving Touch.

Use this same method as you learn to be healthy. When you lose focus or slip off the path, simply and lovingly remind yourself of your intention.

Your right weight is the weight you should be able to attain without the fear of piling on excess kilos when you resume a normal diet or eating routine. So how do you … This phase allows for rapid weight loss of 3.5 to five kilograms in three weeks …and more »

Victoza Weight Loss Stories

First person accounts of what it is like to use Victoza for weight loss. Gathered from the web, read and hear people tell of their experiences with Victoza.

So, what is it like to actually use Victoza for weight loss? Below are some first person accounts as they tell in their own words their Victoza weight loss story. First, blogger April In Alabama gives a detail account of her experience with Victoza, particularly the first few days.

April takes aim at the southern chef and cooking show maven, Paula Deen, who is also the spokesperson for Victoza. Inspite of Paula Deen’s calorie packed dishes, she has lost weight, but does not directly say that her weight loss was because of Victoza. It’s a matter of reading between the lines.

Below April’s blog post, you will find three entries of a video blog where you will hear a personal victoza weight loss story.

What you will probably learn from this humble Victoza weight loss review is that Victoza is not a miracle pill. There is a price to pay to lose weight with Victoza.

All I can say is, If Paula Deen went through this to lose weight, and get her diabetes under control, God Bless her Heart! No wonder you lose weight!  You are sick for a week!

I called doctor today. Told them I have all the side effects!  They said that it will go away. When?  She says in about 7 days!  7 Days!!  I have 4 more days to go!!

Upside, I have lost 5 pounds since Tuesday.  Downside, I am to sick to care! All I have had in 2 days is some Cheerios no milk yesterday and plain oatmeal this morning, It says in this booklet, to drink lots of water so you don’t dehydrate, because that can lead to Kidney Failure!…

Victoza Weight Loss Video Blog:

Day I.

This video blog begins with the first day. The speaker reveiws her experience at the hospital where she got the first injection of Victoza. She also tells how easy it was to give herself the second shot, and she is afraid of needles.

Day 3.

Actual weight lost, 3.3 pounds.

End of Week I.

Here she tells of her experience of the first week of Victoza injections and her weight loss.

The impression I get is that weight loss with Victoza is like getting a stomach bug on purpose so you’ll be too sick to eat. Not exactly a success story, although they both lost weight. But, really, is losing weight really the goal? Maybe it would be wiser to learn how to be healthy. There are plenty of skinny people who are not healthy.
If there is a Victoza weight loss success story, it is probably merely a snapshot in time. Yes, people lose weight with the help of Victoza, but the real measure of weight loss success is when the weight stays off.
Usually, it doesn’t because the focus is simply on losing weight and not establishing healthy habits. The truth is people who are overweight are overweight because of their habits and because of the foods they eat. They are not overweight because they do not have enough Victoza in their bodies.
Victoza can give a boost to weight loss efforts, however, for best results and long term weight management, a healthy lifestyle must be adopted.

Victoza and Low Blood Sugar.

When used alone Victoza, also known as liraglutide ,usually does not cause low blood sugar, but sometimes when a patient is also taking another medication the two drugs combined can lower the blood sugar to a dangerous level. For this reason, be sure that your doctor and your pharmacist are aware of all the medications you are taking.

Other things that can cause a dangerously low level of blood sugar is drinking alcohol while also taking Victoza, not eating enough food or excessive physical activity.

Symptoms of low blood sugar might include the rapid appearance of sweat for no reason, shaking or trembling, rapid heartbeat, unexplained hunger, fuzzy vision, feeling like you are going to faint, headache, and unexplained tingling in the extremities.

If you have been prescribed Victoza for the treatment of diabetes, it is essential to always have glucose tablets or glucose gel with you wherever you go. If you experience low blood sugar and do not have these commercially produced sources of glucose with you, eat table sugar, honey, candy, fruit juice or regular soda (diet soda will not work).

Living with diabetes requires a modest degree of discipline and awareness to insure you eat something throughout the day to keep you blood sugar at a healthy level.

With this in mind, Victoza may be an essential tool in maintaining proper blood sugar levels.

Who Should Take Victoza?

Victoza is designed to be injected beneath the skin in the abdomen, upper thigh, or upper arm once a day to control blood sugar. The sire of the daily injection and the time may be changed as needed to accommodate changes in dose.

And, of course, if ever you experience a change of health regardless of what you suspect the cause might be, seek medical attention.
